I will rig for my own shows, or for others.
To rig in your venue, I need a solid attachment point rated at least to 2000 lbs. as well as a ladder, manlift, catwalk or other safe method of accessing this point. I can provide my own ladder at local events for an additional fee.
Height must be at least 18ft for a dynamic show, lower is possible for ambient entertainment events. (if rigging point is higher than 50ft please mention this in your initial contact)
Regardless of listed rating, I or any aerialist performing on my rigging will always retain the right to refuse to perform if they do not feel safe and comfortable with the provided rigging point. Pre-inspection of the rigging point prior to the event is suggested to avoid any confusion.
For outdoor (or large indoor) venues, I can supply freestanding rigging as shown below
Rig requires 30x30ft unobstructed ground area and 19ft height clearance. This is the standard setup and will provide the aerialist with an 18ft rigging height.
Rig does have an option of a lower setup, which requires a 25x25 unobstructed ground area and 15ft height clearance. This arrangement will provide a 14ft rigging height and is fine for lyra or dance trapeze. Silk performers will be very limited at this height and the performance will not include large drops or roll downs.
Regardless of rigging height chosen, the rig provides three attachment points. One is center located and is ideal for any single point apparatus. The other two are spaced and rigged for swinging, ideal for static or swinging trapeze. A standard caving ladder is provided for rigging changeouts mid-performance. A pulley system may also be set up and used; however, this will require a rated ground level tie off point for the ropes and will add $50 to the setup fee.
